We have been lucky to have Nate around for the last few weekends. Saturdays are so much better when I am not flying solo. For one thing I was super productive...taught kickboxing at the YMCA, mowed the lawn, ran to Walmart, Lowe's, and the grocery store, painted Sadie's room, played volleyball and had a bbq with some of Nate's buddies from work, played at the beach, and kind of cleaned the house (just enough to make it look like a bomb didn't go off in the middle of the kitchen). I went to bed exhausted but it felt good to check so many things off my list (if only I wouldn't have received a wake up call every hour or two from the teething babe I would have slept like a rock).
The beach was probably the highlight of the day. Cambri doesn't usually enjoy the beach much...doesn't like to get sand on her hands and feet. We bought a pair of swim shoes from Walmart on the way to the beach and they worked some magic. This girl of mine was loving the sand and water. Best $5 spent...ever! I just wish our summer days weren't coming to an end so we could enjoy more days like this.
It is rare that I can get Cambri to smile and look at the camera at the same time. But she will make a silly face for you with no complaints. I will take what I can get.

bubble trouble
This is what happens when an overly tired momma tries to multi-task...
I started filling up the sink and got side tracked with the vacuum. The water probably ran for a good 10 minutes. Luckily it just flowed into the other side of the sink so the water mess stayed pretty contained. Needless to say, I need some sleep before I do any major damage around the house.

10 months
Our Sadie Bug is growing up on super speed. She is such a fun baby. She will be our social butterfly for sure. She has already figured out how to walk, climbs on everything, and is one tough cookie. My girls are starting to interact with each other more and more each day. Watching them play is so fun. I do wonder if they will be best buddies though cause they are completely different creatures with personalities all their own. I do love this sadie monster!

haircut...
It's true, this monkey got a hair cut. In fact I chopped it off. Twice cause the first time I didn't do a very good job. Which is why it is as short as it is. But I love it short. Her hair is still pretty thin so it looks stringy when it gets long. I do miss being able to do pig tails but now her hair doesn't always have to be pulled up to look cute. We are all about quick and easy around here. I am getting the itch to cut mine. I never do my hair and its always pulled back. Just the thought of taking a blow dryer to my hair in this humidity makes me sweat. But I am not as cute as this girl when I have short hair. Oh well, I can doll her up and no one cares what I look like.
