Thanks to Nate having to take an 8 hour test in Philadelphia we were able to enjoy a fun weekend sightseeing (at least once the test was over).
We saw all the historical sights (in turbo speed since that is the way you sight see historical things with a 2 year old). And then we enjoyed us some yummy cheese steaks. They did not disappoint! Even Cambri, who hasn't been the best meat eater these days, loved every bite.
After we saw the sights we decided to take a little trip to the Jersey Shore. We LOVED everything about it. It was a much needed trip to the ocean, and we hope to be able to visit again.
The drive to Philly was about 7 hours and I was so nervous about how Cambri would be in the car. She has never been a very good passenger. Our last long trip was our move to Ohio and it wasn't very fun for either of us...lots of tears. But that was a year ago. Now that Cambri is into movies she was amazing!!! Thank heaven for portable dvd players. She watched movies, took a nap, and then played with her toys and never once complained. Lets hope we don't push our luck when we make the 10 hour drive to Des Moines in a few weeks.
Our little family in front of Liberty Bell. I think it will be years before we get a family picture of all of us looking and smiling at the camera at the same time.
Loving her cheese steak...
...and loving it some more.

Of course we made a stop at the art museum where Rocky did the famous run up the stairs. We had a little race and unfortunately I lost (barely). No need to mention that Nate was carrying Cambri, although I say we were equal since I am carrying around a few extra pounds myself.
Having fun at Penn's Landing.
This was probably her favorite part of the whole trip.
Checking out Independence Hall. Once again it is impossible to get Cambri to look and smile (normal) at the camera. You have to love her funny faces anyway.
Hanging out at the beach.
